The frequent occurrence of earthquakes is an important factor affecting the safety of nuclear ring cranes. However, with the continuous development of nuclear power technology, traditional design methods for nuclear ring cranes are no longer able to meet seismic requirements, so new design methods are needed to improve the seismic performance of nuclear ring cranes. At present, a simple and effective method is to use shock-absorbing devices to reduce the seismic load on the nuclear ring crane structure, thereby improving the seismic performance of the nuclear ring crane.At present, there is relatively little research on using shock absorption devices to improve seismic performance of nuclear ring cranes, especially for vertical shock absorption devices, which are almost non-existent. Based on the design characteristics of the nuclear ring crane structure, this article designs a new type of shock-absorbing device to improve the seismic performance of the nuclear ring crane without affecting its normal operation.
